School Meals

At lunchtime, children are supervised by the School Meals Supervisory Assistants (SMSAs).
Children may

  • have a school dinner
  • bring a packed lunch in a small lunch box
  • go home for lunch
  • School dinners are provided by Harrison Catering and prepared on the premises. Vegetarian meals are available every day.

    Dinner Money
Should be brought to school on Monday morning in an envelope marked with your child's name and class. School dinners cost £2.00 per day, £10.00 per week if paid in advance, otherwise £2.10 per day. Payments can be made via the internet or over the phone by credit/debit card. Cheques will not be accepted. Please ask for details at the school office. If you wish to change the arrangements for your child's lunch, please let the School Administrator know at least one week in advance.

Families who receive income support are entitled to apply for free school meals for their children. Forms are available in school. If you wish to claim entitlement for free school meals you must fill in the form and take it - with your income documents - to the Education Offices at Perceval House. Failure to do so will result in your child's school meals being charged to you

You can find and download the school menu here. You can also find additional payment information at Ealingmeals.com

    Packed Lunches
Any drinks which children bring in must be in a plastic or cardboard container. In the interests of good health and dental care, no sweets or fizzy drinks please. We allow crisps and chocolate biscuits once per week, preferably Friday.

Children may bring in bottles of water to sip throughout the day and a piece of fruit to have at playtime. All infant classes get free fruit daily. No nuts, please, because of the increasing number of pupils with nut allergies. Children are expected to behave sensibly in the canteen and in the playground. If a child does not co-operate, we may find it necessary to withdraw the privilege of eating lunch at school. Try to support us by using re-usable packaging.
