It is always important that we are always informed when your child is unable to come to school. This may be done either by telephoning the school on the first day of absence or by sending in a note when s/he returns. Parents wishing to take their child out of the school during the day to go to the doctor or dentist etc must send in a note beforehand or contact the school office in advance. Children must be collected from the school office. Please try to avoid taking holidays in term-time as this has a disturbing effect on children and their progress. All requests for this must be made to the Headteacher.

• Unauthorised absence - 1.3%
• We have almost no truancy, but it is vital that parents let us know the reasons for a child's absence. The vast majority of the unauthorised absences above are single absences where a parent has failed to let us know the reasons for the absence.

Children should be in school by 8:50am for morning registration. The school day finishes at 3:15pm
